Home is where the heart is, which I've heared from a music. A family can be anybody with close affinity to us. My cousin lives in our house, she's presently a 4th year college student taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Development Management at Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
We have so much difference from one another like I love talking while she is contented in one corner and tend to be serious with things. I love reading English books or online articles, she loves reading Tagalog novels. I love to analyze things or observe first while she is impulsive. I do things out of my initiatitive while you need to ask her first. I think of people's problem and solution, she thinks of being problematic with no solution. I'm a sweet person while she is somehow cold. Those are some of our differences.
We tend to quarrel with some petty things when where hot headed, oh by the way we're both impatient. If you're impatient to someone else, your closeness will distance a bit. Impatience doesn't concern the person you're being impatient to. This feeling of impatience got everything with how you're carrying the person's attitude or behaviour to you. Feeling of impatience really is a harmful habit, negative, and you'll be able to free that feeling if you're ready to become patient. Impatience tends to close the doors of our hearts. Here are the 5 ways to open up the heart:
1. Hear the person's plea - when you are feeling impatient, you don't seem to hear anything but your say to what you think is right. There's a need to hear the other person's plea in order to solve the problem.
2. Enter the person's world - be adaptable enough to see the other person's point of view. According to an article I've read "Impatience came from your belief" Because your mind tells you to believe that you need to be impatient. So there's a need for you to believe the opposite, be patient! :)
3. Antidote for negative emotions - i love science so "negative polarity plus negative polarity equals positive" the antidote for a negative emotion like impatience is to relax, overcome the feeling by patience, just observe the feeling and never blame anyone for your impatience.
4. Reaffirm the positive - impatience is a negative feeling so there's the need for the positive energy which is patience for you to overcome. When you deal with hard times sometimes you feel uncertain and helpless. Its best if you use your mind's power in keeping yourself going. The positive reaffirmation.
5. Try and try and try once more - there's no harm in trying, right? Living patiently is a virtue that a person inculculate in one's life. So if you would like to get something, "try, try and try once more" until you get what you've been waiting for. Problems have solutions but solutions is not so easy as it seems when you say it. "Actions speaks more than words"
Impatience is only a feeling, believe that you can change your mindset when it starts lurking in your system and the patience is out of your control. Carry on the positive and not the negative because it will just give you stress. Open up your HEART
