Loving Without Any Expectations

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Jn 3:16

If God loves us so much that He gave us His begotten son, it’s only appropriate that we give back in return. It’s natural for us people to help and love other people. It’s already etched deep in our hearts and in our character. The philosophy behind this is, as people we cannot be considered whole if you don’t take good care of your neighbor. As person we serve for different motives, it can be for blessings, it can also be for the things that you like when you serve and it can also be due to sacrifice. There’s one action but for different reasons.

Every year there’s a feast of the Black Nazarene taking place in Quiapo, a great number of people are seen in the streets of Hidalgo, Arroceros, to Quirino Grandstand due to different causes or reasons behind it. But for our family, we give bottled waters for this people who dragging the carriage of the Black Nazarene that came from the Quirino Grandstand going back to the church of Quiapo, this people are walking barefooted, very thirsty and very tired due to the whole day walk. It can be said that our action is just a little deed of kindness compared to those people who walk from Quirino Grandstand  but our contribution gave us so much happiness and comfort or relief for this people who drag the Nazarene, because after this contribution no words can express our happiness. Our Lord Jesus Christ likes when we give our hearts and not expecting in return. Whether you believe it or not this sharing of our blessings to these very exhausted, thirsty and barefooted people really helps us to increase our faith and our job. Abundance of blessings are received after this feast.

Mark 12:41-44 "He sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the treasury, and many of the rich put in a great deal. A poor widow came and put in two small coins, the equivalent of a penny. Then he called his disciples and said to them, 'In truth I tell you, this poor widow has put more in than all who have contributed to the treasury; for they have all put in money they could spare, but she in her poverty has put in everything she possessed, all she had to live on."
